Restaurants that adapt

Had an afternoon in central London booked, to see an art exhibition, and a friend booked pre-exhibition drinks and late lunch at a rather delightful cosy eatery tucked away in East London.

A late lunch at Delamina

Not only does Delamina have a dreamy rustic interior, with vintage details, perfect cafe curtains and original shop front, but also a pretty lovely menu – with, joyfully, some great vegan options as well as an immediate offer to veganise some of the other dishes if preferred!

From the available daytime-menu, I went for humous and crispy chickpeas, smokey aubergine, crispy rosemary potatoes, mixed bread and the small size plate of charred cauliflower with pomegranate molasses & seeds.

They removed the yogurt and crème fraiche condiments and added in tahini instead – which complimented the food perfectly.
