Strolling through the aisles past the mini apples and the ready-made pizza bases, I definitely didn’t think I would come across such good beauty products and that those beauty products were vegan and cruelty-free.
The Lacura range at Aldi (when it’s in stock) is a winner. So many different products including face creams, toners, tanning products, wipes, make up, serum, mascara, anti wrinkle cream and much, much more.

My firm favourites that I try to always have in the cupboard are:
Q10 Renew Intensive Serum – A light and absorbent serum with a big impact. I love this serum going on clean skin before applying make up. It has really improved the texture of my skin and allows a nice base for my make up to be applied.
Biodegradable Face Wipes are definitely the best wipes I’ve used. An excellent cleansing wipe that removes all make up and even waterproof mascara. Then there’s the fact they are biodegradable – most wipes aren’t so this is a welcome feature.
Salicylic Acid Toner is to be fair quite alike to many on the market but at the low price (£3.49) is even more appealing for such a nice gentle toner that leaves such a glow.
Too Legit Waterproof Mascara is my number one Lacura product as well as my number one vegan mascara. At just £5.49 it’s light but gives body, maximising my lashes. I can’t often find it in store but when it is – I buy in bulk.
So we definitely don’t need to go to high end stores to get good vegan and cruelty free products.
Next time you’re picking up the pint of milk or your vegetables, take a look in the beauty section as well as the special-buy aisles.
